An ISOBUS object pool is a central element of the ISO 11783-6 standard and defines the graphical user interface (GUI) displayed on a Virtual Terminal (VT) when an ISOBUS-capable implement or machine component is connected. The object pool contains a structured collection of graphical objects such as texts, images, buttons, lines, and more complex elements like bar graphs. These objects are stored as a binary file (usually with the extension .iop) and transmitted from the implement to the VT in order to provide a standardized, manufacturer-independent user interface.
